always felt bad about the animals-her health and the environmental benefits were an added
plus! Then, three years ago, her daughter expressed interest in becoming vegan. Amy was
hesitant at first -All those notions of how will you grow and get enough protein went through her
mind. Her daughter showed her how the dairy and egg industries are really the cruelest of all.
Amy realized her daughter did her research and they became vegan together with the rest of
the family following shortly thereafter. All five feel great and love being vegan! Amy started a
blog about a year ago to help other people transition to a vegan diet; to show how simple it is
to eat a very fulfilling and healthy array of foods that are completely cruelty-free. She states,
“Every day I still learn more and more reasons why being vegan is so amazing. The animals,
the environment, my health, the world's population - everything benefits from a vegan lifestyle!!”
Amy has a certification in plant-based nutrition.
